Even before we arrived, we were contacted by the girls introducing themselves and asking if there was anything we needed. We arrived at By The Sea at midnight, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we wanted to stay longer.  It is the most friendliest welcoming hotel you can wish to visit. Excellent 2 bedroom penthouse apartment with everything you would need. An amazing pool which was warm and a joy to spend time in and plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar.

Amazing property and facilities and staff are lovely. Lots of restaurants, shops and rhings to do within walking distance. Close to the marina and easy to book tours nearby.

Fab 2 bed apartment. Very comfortable & immaculate. Great balcony views across the links to the rainforest. Just a short drive into town. Great pools & BBQ areas. Awsome stay.

Outstanding lodge in a nature reserve with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. The chalet accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, and the location in the nature reserve was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed at least one more. Having said that, it was not cheap, but good value for what was on offer.

The hotel is lovely the pool and barbecue area are outstanding. Beds are comfortable everything worked as it should. I will highly recommend!

We stayed here in a two bedroom apartment for four nights in early July and found the whole experience to be excellent. The location is fantastic, close to the supermarket and every other shop or restaurant you might need and walking distance from almost everything else (trips to Great Barrier Reef and beach, etc). The apartments are well equipped with everything required and the bathrooms are great. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. All in all, a very successful stay...

I was travelling with my family and this was the last stop on their holiday so wanted something comfortable near the beach/shops and some quiet and privacy and this ticked all the boxes. Nice helpful family who own the apartments and nothing much more to add apart from it was a really great 5 night stay there

We enjoyed our stay at the Lagoons. Very friendly staff. We had a family room, the kitchen was well stocked, spacious family area with sofa and large flatscreen TV. The porch area has table and chairs leading onto private loungers divided by a safey fence. There are two bbq areas poolside in the centre concourse which are well maintained and equipped - we used these a few times. The pool is also good which the kids loved.

We had a lovely stay, the location in port douglas was perfect with a nice walk to town. The staff were extremely helpful. The apartment was very spacious on 2 levels and perfect for 2 adults and an infant.
