"We booked in for a quick overnight before catching the ferry. I tried to contact the property several times to get a room change or add a cot to our room. My calls and messages were never returned. When we arrive at 9:30, half an hour before closing, the office was closed. I called and they had left our key in a box but didn’t even know about my messages. We made it work (my one son slept on a hard couch that folded open like a futon but was incredibly stiff with a metal bar along the middle. Cleanliness was superficial. New paint but lots of dings. The AC unit dusty and I did not dare turn it on. The bathroom had no lock and was missing a cupboard handle. The freezer was full of frost and unusable. The headboard of the bed was covered in dust. But the worst part was waking up wlamd finding hairs in the bed (black…. My husband is bald and my hair is red) and also a few ants around. Overall I would not stay here again. It’s a dive."

"The hotel is right at the edge of the Sound and next to the ferry we needed to catch in the morning. The restaurant was a bit tired."

"The hotel is old but has good location. Easy parking and near the national park. The view from the room is amazing."

"This is the third time I have stayed here. It is very clean and has friendly staff. I continue to come for its great value and very clean rooms. One thing to note is that the rooms are not well insulated, so you do hear the cars driving by. If your sensitive to noise, I would recommend earplugs."
