"So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). "We booked the Viewpoint at short notice and it didnt disappoint. Room was clean, tidy and very spacious. Host was very accommodating when we had a lot of traffic preventing us from getting there at the time we stated. Breakfast was wonderful and all in all, a very nice stay. "Absolutely fine, was welcomed by a thoroughly nice chap who checked us in etc. Room was up in the rafters but was nice, comfortable bed and a magnificent bathtub. Spent an hour in the bar and enjoyed that, drinks were reasonable price and it seemed to be quite full. Had to leave at 06:00 to catch ferry so didn’t eat breakfast. Only negative was the toilet seat was quite loose and I felt a little uneasy sitting on the pan, expecting it to slip off at any second. Absolute not a show-stopper...

"We really enjoyed this hotel. We took our twin baby boys on their first trip away and it was so easy. The 2 beds in the family room made it so effortless. The breakfast was fantastic, being vegetarian, breakfast can always be bland for us in hotels but the options were some of the best we’ve had and they tasted so fresh. We’ll be coming back, even if it’s just for the breakfast. "
