Could only get an audio tour machine from the main entrance - but the amphitheater at the other end is pretty cool to see.

Needs lots of time if you want to see the whole of Pompeii. Fantastic audio guides so you can do it on your won, in your own way. good cafe and toilets with water fountains in the streets.

We went on a Thursday and it was free entry but not everything was accessible.

Wear suitable footwear and take drinks as the site is uneven and you can get hot and covers a very large area
