"I would recommend this hotel we had a lovely visit the staff are very friendly, the location is brilliant, the cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and served at the table which is so much nicer. The only thing was the lift had broken down so we had to climb lots of flights of stairs, as long as the lift is repaired we would definitely come back. Thanks we had a great stay."

"The property suited our needs being ideally situated, and providing comfortable accommodation. The pub had a good atmosphere with reasonably priced food., and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, during our stay housekeeping was haphazard. We had to ask for clean towels and the bed wad only ever made up once during a seven night stay. Although not connected with the accommodation, it was disappointing that the Boatyard cafe did not open early enough to provide us with breakfast. During our stay last year we could rely on this!"

"Lovely clean place, friendly staff and fantastic rooms. Our room was quite warm but was supplied with a fan. Situated ideally on Porthleven harbour. A bit disappointed having to wait for an hour for food but the staff did apologise and gave us our drinks FOC as a way of an apology. Unfortunately, I’d passed being hungry so didn’t finish my meal. That said it would not stop me coming back as overall we had a fantastic stay."

"We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink and make our own beds!"
