Great place to chill
Very good hotel with friendly staff, testy food and never too crowded pool! Not really a walking distance from the lakeside but the hotel offers free transfer a few times a day. Very poor internet connection but it's pretty normal in Himalayan region. Being almost 5 months pregnant my husband and I enjoyed our week stay at this hotel as it gave a chance to relax but also see places/do things nearby.

Good, clean, inexpensive hotel but isolated
The was always a good choice when visiting Pokara, but its location is now somewhat isolated. In the day when Lakeside was a bunch of tawdry shops, low rent accommodation and cheap restaurants it was a good choice to get away from the noise. Since then better hotels, like Temple Tree, are at Lakeside and a better choice

Shangri-la Village is a lovely experience
My husband and I had a lovely two days stay at Shangri-la. The welcome when we first arrived to the attentive staff in the dining room and also the room staff was great. The food was excellent and the rooms, clean spacious and very very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Peccato che un resort così bello come deve essere stato sia stato così lasciato andare! Camere e bagni moooolto datati, sporchi, addirittura hanno dipinto le piastrelle di nero per nascondere il tutto!!.!. Poi lo staff gentile e molto disponibile!

なんとなく雰囲気はいいのですが、部屋にスリッパがなかったり、部屋のマットの上に乗った瞬間にマットが滑り酷く体を打って痛かったりなどどことなくイマイチでした。

清潔で落ち着くホテルです。天気の良い日は、アンナプルナ連山が、一望出来ます。 ポカラのレークサイド、そして空港まで無料送迎バスあり。近くにあまりレストランがない。m
