"Overall we enjoyed our stay, perfect location, hotel clean and staff friendly. The only criticism was that pool was heavily chlorinated, so much so it was cloudy, and you couldn't see the bottom of the pool Both myself and daughter have sensitive skin, so we decided not to risk swimming in it. The buffet food was cooked well, however not kept warm. Every meal we had wasn't very warm at all. The variety was good, themed nights were excellent. We thought it strange that we didn't have to pay for drinks at breakfast, but evening meal drinks are chargeable. We weren't made aware of this when we arrived. The drinks are very reasonably priced though, so it wasn't much of an issue. The WiFi was terrible. So much so, I've run out of data, which never happens back home. The walls are paper thin, so we had to use ear plugs to sleep. We loved the water coolers dotted around the hotel. The hotel is very eco friendly. Again, we enjoyed our stay, the downsides didn't detract from the holiday too much. We went to the beach instead of the pool, granted we had to pay for sun beds but you get a reduced price staying in the hotel. The food at the Bluumar beach bar was fantastic. We also had to pay for the safety deposit box in the room, which I've never had to do before. โฌ6 per night."

"Excellent location. A bit tricky to get to if arriving by train. Air conditioner like most European hotels a little lacking. Breakfast good but very crowded, requires a reservation time, yet still long lines."

"We were pleased with our stay. Note it, to get a breakfast we needed to go to another place. This was within a short walking distance. In that place we could stay all day long, having fun by a couple of different pools surrounded by tropical style garden.. It was pleasant!"

"I had a really enjoyable stay at Magnolia Hotel Salou. The hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great place to unwind. The location is excellent โ close to the beach, restaurants and the centre of Salou, while still feeling calm and peaceful. My room was spacious and comfortable, and I especially appreciated having a balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and overall the hotel felt very well maintained. The pool area is also a nice place to relax during the day. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend Magnolia Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Salou."

"This was my first time going abroad and staying at this hotel was lovely it was clean and tidy and the views were beautiful only note to make is make sure you have a car as booking taxis yourself is difficult and the hotel is a bit out of the way but everything else was lovely"

"Definitely get the sea view room. Location is everything with this place. We went for the eclipse and as an older couple we enjoyed a relaxing day at the pool. It was not the kind of place we normally go. It is perfect for families and it was nice to see people having fun without screens. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. Appreciated that they were on top of keeping the floors dry with everyone dripping water. The place is a bit dated but it had a charm to it. The pool is the main feature and it was kind of nice that they close it early so you can enjoy the peaceful sea views in the evening. Elevators were a complaint for some but we were on the 3rd floor and didnt mind walking down. The other issue is the parking but we totally lucked out getting there early to get a spot near the hotel. We just kept up on paying the meter every 4 hours until the evening when parking was free."

"The whole hotel was very good. We stayed here last year and chose to return. The pool area and slides are excellent as are the animation team. We were half board, good selection at meal times- some excellent food, some only ok but we always left feeling full and satisfied. We had a late flight home, the girls at reception today (sat 8th) could not have been more helpful to us, they were so polite and courteous and had no problem allowing us up and back a few times to get stuff out of the cases in the store and also when we needed to have showers prior to leaving. The rooms are very clean and well maintained and thankfully have air con. No issues with this hotel- all good and we will definitely be back!"
