"I loved staying here. The only issue I had was the a/c in my room couldn’t stay a consistent temperature. I followed the directions to a T and still had temps ranging from 75 - 69. I have a heart condition that requires me to stay cool ( and I went to Florida, I know.) The temps in the room never got dangerous for me, it was more uncomfortable. Everyone was absolutely lovely though. Especially the housekeeping staff who truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. "

"One elevator wasn’t working when we arrived. The second elevator stopped working the a second night of our stay. The room smelled terrible when you first open the door. It smelled like one of two things; a dog peed and dirty water was used to clean the floors or old seafood was in the fridge or microwave at some point and the scent was still lingering. The stay, overall, was fine, but those issues listed is why I couldn’t rate a 5."

"Had a great stay, front desk staff and cleaning personnel were great, room was clean. The down side was the computer system was not working properly and checking in took too long, staff was very friendly, cordial and apologetic; Hampton Inn has been my favorite hotel for years but I think they need to do some upgrading in the rooms specially the mattresses, they are old.
