"Beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. Central location. Easy walk into the village or down the private access lane to the lake. Badgers are regular visitors as well as red squirrels. "

"Hotel as described. 10 minutes walk into Grasmere. Free parking, although I doubt enough if hotel at capacity. Bus stop outside. Breakfast was nice & plenty of options. We had dinner one evening and it was good & good value.
Dog friendly, in fact Luna felt bery welcome!
We decline one days room clean in exchange for a couple of free drinks, that was a nice idea and encoraged reuse of towels etc
