"The hotel itself is smart and has a good restaurant. Unfortunately I stayed in one of the apartments at the rear of the building and it was poor. The electrical circuits were random and bodged. The bathroom cabinets a mess and the shower head sprayed water and was poorly attached to the tiles."

The Melia Valencia is within easy walking distance of the old town centre (under 45 mins) and 5 mins from the metro (Beniferri). There are plenty of restaurants, Cafe's and supermarkets nearby. Hotel room was large with a table and a seperate armchair. The outside pool was good as was the gym (3rd floor). Breakfast was very expensive so we eat out every day.

excellent all round, very easy to walk to Hemisferic and the Marine aquarium and abut a 45 min walk to either the Historic centre or the Marina.
We hired bikes one day from Easy Bike which is moreorless opposite Intelier Core suites and they were fabulous. The bike lanes in Valencia are superb.
Staff at the property were fantastic and cleanliness was excellent. Just wouldbe liked the pool to be heated as it was too cold to use.

During the 3rd day in spain, i was staying at the Hotel Tactica Valencia.
after visit from Ibist compariably no doubt about the 4 star, room was better organized, clean and great amenities.
it feels unfortunate that i only stayed one day, which was not enough to experience the hotel.
but access to the hotel was great from Valencia, and for the value, the hotel was more than satisfactory.
won't regret the visit.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed in the space of 5 months and we love it! Rooms are huge and beds are extremely comfortable.
A huge positive is location- right in the centre of the Arts and Sciences area and a few steps away from all the shopping you can do! Also buses stop outside or a short walk away.
I’m sure we’ll be back soon!

Before i qualify my remarks I would say I enjoyed stayin ghere and would stay there again, so these are just niggles really but here goes....I stayed in Februaryso the pool was closed but I went and looked at it and it was tiny. . There was no help offered with my luggage and no concierge nor was there 24 hour room service so I'm not honestly sure it qualifies as 4 star - but maybe thats just me. It was clean the service was good ( bar the lack of offer to help with my luggage) and the hotel...

The staff were friendly and helpful, although it isn't in the city centre, there is a bus stop next to the hotel that will take you there. Convienent location, with a mall next to it

Perfect location approx 5 min walk to old town with lots of food choices. Room was great, had all the amenities that we required. For the price we paid it was all around amazing. I would stay again!

We've just returned from a great stay at the hotel medium Valencia. Despite not being a central location, the hotel was in walking distance of the rufassa district and the newer city of science and art. You were also able to walk to the old town but this was over a half an hour walk. The hotel was modern and clean. We also tried out the hotel's massage service which was provided in room. We felt the service was great and good value for money. We also opted to add on breakfast - which set us up...

We had 2 nights, a trip combining taking part in an event and also meeting up with some friends, so wanted somewhere that made getting to the event on the outskirts of the city easy, but was also "walkable" to meet up for a drink or meal without needing to use transport. The location was perfect for this, just off the main road alongside the Turia park ( but far enough in for there not to be any traffic noise). This seemed like a relatively new hotel, so was clean and well appointed. The...

Late Feb 2015 short stay so pleased to find sunshine and some quiet time. We were upgraded to superior room which was lovely. Spacious, cosy and a perfect view through the palm trees and across the sand to the water. Not all restaurants were open but we knew that and wasn't an issue for us.

This hotel enjoys a perfect location in a really nice part of Valencia, full of old back streets and amazing restaurants. Major beaches are a short bus ride away, and the major features of Valencia itself, most notably the City of Arts & Science and Oceanographic, are all within short walking distance. The staff are helpful & very friendly.
