"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our kids loved the pool area and breakfast. The room is a bit small though for a family of four and there are few plugs and storage space. Nevertheless a very positive experience."

The Golden Topaz way surpassed expectations! Tom the manager was amazing! The property is exactly as the photos look, just opposite is a great restaurant, then there are 4 others down the road towards the beach. The pool is great, breakfasts are fantastic! I would definitely return!

Beautiful resort and wonderful, friendly staff.
Room - Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and over looked the water. The laundry detergent used on the linen smells amazing!! Room is cleaned everyday and bottled water is provided as well. There is a tv in the room with many Vietnamese channels, but also some English ones. The furniture in the room is quite beautiful - all wood. Overall, we loved the room!

We had a wonderful stay at the Melia. The villas are big and spacious and the private pools are a great addition. The food was generally good at the buffets and the beachfront location is very good. The best thing about the Melia though are the staff, they couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We must mention Khuong from the concierge team who changed the battery in our door lock and Heiu at the pool bar in the Menorca pool who were fantastic and great fun to chat to. We had a great time during our stay at Vela. The staff were very attentive and tried to make our time there feel really special. We loved the location as it was in a quieter part of Phu Quoc with other nice resorts close by that you can use (Mango Bay has a lovely beach and bar area). The pool area at Vela was fantastic too!
