The resort was cute and relaxing. The staff in general were very kind and helpful. The main pool was supposed to be ready when I made the reservation, but upon arrival, was still not ready. The other pool we went to was small and had no room to sit. The gym was great and we enjoyed all the amenities. The front desk staff member didn’t give much info and when we went to the room realized there was no map for this huge resort. We had to go back in the morning to retrieve some sort of map to find things. So make sure you get that when checking in. The cleaning people were somewhat loud in the mornings as well, which woke us up bright and early. If you are an early riser, it wouldn’t be a big deal, if you aren’t, bring ear plugs. But overall a pleasant stay.

We stayed here about 3 years ago and had a wonderful time. This time was completely different mainly dumped to the fact that the main pol and spa wee closed and we had no idea. The last communication I received said the pool/spa would be open February 18. We checked on February 20 so I thought , no problem. The construction repairs have been pushed back twice. The fact that we were not told this upon checking in, is ridiculous. We would’ve stayed somewhere else. We also checked in as Expedia VIP, which meant absolutely nothing...no extra perks, upgrades or anything. The other 2 pools that were open were crowded with no onsite bar or food. The rooms are very average and required walking quite a distance to get to the pools that were open. All in all, not a great stay

The property is meticulously maintained and lovely to walk around. The location is perfect for getting into Old Scottsdale as well
