A very compact and interesting city- very pleasant to walk around - Medieval and Renaissance architecture, restaurants, shops. Very worthwhile buying a combination ticket for galleries and museums which gives access to less visited venues.
Beautiful city but not suitable if you have difficulty walking, there are lots of hills and steps.
