Perth is a very clean and safe city. The waterfront area and Botanical Gardens are beautiful places. Freemantle is brilliant!

Loved Swan River - recommend the Captain Cook wine cruise. Favorite beach was Cottesloe. Glad we visited Rottnest but probably wouldn’t return as spoiled by rundown accommodation. Freemantle was fine but a bit touristy. Trains were fab & cheap

Friendly people, excellent public transport. Thoroughly recommend a stay, I would definitely visit again. Rottnest Island very busy, but worth going to see quokkas.
