"The Great: Excellent location, easy access, nice atmosphere, someone really cared (about 30 years ago), when then furnished and accessorized this property. You can tell there was serious pride of ownership at one point. The Good: Arrived after 10Pm, and the staff was fully in place at check in, no hunting around for someone, no waiting for someone to arrive at the front desk, etc. Instant check in process and "fine" process with no outward "attitude" but, I felt an undercurrent of disapproval/judgement on check in. Was presented with a draconian, intentionally intimidating contract to sign due to having k-9s with me. To say they are "Dog friendly" in advertising is a bit misleading, I'd say more like: Dog Tolerant, especially if there is a pet fee involved. Service Animal averse, almost militant approach to receiving guests with Service Animals. Made me feel like a 2nd class citizen. Made me wonder if ALL guests are presented with the threatening contract upon arrival or if they just signle out ADA travelers. Felt like they were trying to play a game of "Gotch'a" very unwelcoming and completely unnecessary. Ok, Now for the Deal Killer BAD: DO NOT STAY HERE if you want to sleep! Remember I mentioned great location? It's great if you want to stay awake all night. It's awful if you want to sleep. The proximity to the freeway makes it easy to get there but impossible to sleep.
