"There was some confusion when we arrived as other guests had checked in with the same surname so looked like our room wasn’t available but we were directed to the bar to enjoy a free drink while the situation was resolved which didn’t take long and we were issued with an apology. As we arrived early evening we left our bags in the room and stayed at the hotel for a delicious pizza. The staff are very friendly and welcoming although the bar staff did get a little overwhelmed one evening with a busy bar of guests requesting cocktails! We gave up on the nightcap and went to our room. I would definitely stay at the Yotel again but noted just a few pros and cons during our stay; Pros; - Large clean room with decent sized TV - Big comfy bed with lovely white linen - Fridge (although not very cold) - Fabulous shower, great showerhead - Toiletries supplied, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion - Iron, hairdryer, safe - Plenty of lifts - Air conditioning/heating thermostat Cons; - Needs a sanitary bin in the toilet, a shelf would be handy too - Towels are hung in toilet so not great if you’re in the shower and someone else in the toilet - No tea making facilities. It is supplied free in the bar but not great if you want a cuppa first thing or if you need hot water for baby bottle"

"Great staff all very friendly we Booked a double room & got an accessible room we wanted to change, staff at desk were really helpful & got us a new room Bellman was great stored our luggage all day and opened the safe as it would not open on arrival to our room Great location very central to trams & trains Only complaint is that pillows were flat & uncomfortable, room was hot and we could not cool it down, shower drains slowly so floor gets really wet & slippery"

"We got a room on the 8th floor and the elevator got to the 7th floor. No one helped us get our bags up to the room (we had two large suitcases and two carry-on) my husband hada. Cast in mis arm and this was very very unfortunate that hotel staff did not help with this. Everytime we called for room service we got several diferent answers so they was pretty annoying. Other than that, the room was very comfortable and clean."

"Central location! The best location and great social activities. I met so many great friends and future travel partners. Beds are comfy and clean. Shower water feels great! Staff and the whole vibe and free tour walk. Well organized and! Love this place ~ Just the last minute booking prices for weekends are 😬……book ahead."

"Our twin room was small but very comfortable. Beds were comfy. Cleaning service every day. Coffee in room. The most outstanding experience was the staff - very responsive and friendly. Great time"

"As of May ‘26, the hotel seems to have a fair bit of construction ongoing. Room was exceptionally overly hot on an already warm day and due to scaffolding up the outside of the building, the openable windows have been permanently closed with plexi glass. This meant that there was no way to get any fresh air in the room and it became very stuffy. I assume the AC is part of the renovation as this was not operational and the controls had been covered over with a board. There was only 1 of 3 lift working during the visit which meant waiting a long time during busy periods. All the above is a shame as the location is great, the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was comfy, clean and had a lot of amenities."
