Black Boy Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great location for visiting Caernarfon. Inn was very charming and had a cosy feel to it; first time staying and enjoyed it very much. .. could do with a few cosy chairs to sink into tho"

IXORA Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Parking was limited, we arrived with another 3 cars and there was only just enough space for us on Saturday at 5pm. By the time I went out later that evening the disabled bays were full of people with no blue badges so anyone needing these spaces would be unable to park near the front.
The hotel lobby was excellent with lots of places to sit and relax, a bar and restaurant was the other side and a small shop available for snacks and toiletries. There isn't anything nearby that I could see so the restaurant was your only option unless you wanted to drive. We were told it was fully booked at 5:30pm when we wanted to eat but were able to order the same food at the bar and sit on some high tables. The food was superb - we all had the fish and chips which went down very well.
Room was very clean and modern, with a SMEG fridge and kettle. Shower gel and shampoo was provided."

Waterloo Hotel Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. The accommodation is good, clean and spacious. We used the leisure facilities with large pool, a good clean sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The food in the restaurant was excellent and good value. 10 minute walk into the centre of Betws-Y-Coed."

The Swallow Falls Inn - The Inn Collection Group
10/10 Excellent
"Superb friendly staff
Fantastic portions for food
Breakfast set up was great
We stayed on a top floor with no lifts but as we were able we managed easily, just to make others aware"

Ty Glyndwr Hotel Bangor
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic place and atmosphere staff extremely friendly and helpful certainly recommend "

Victoria Hotel Menai Bridge By Chef and Brewer Collection
8/10 Good
"The Victoria is a good choice for my travel plans as I am using public transportation. There was a bus station within 2 blocks and the railway station was less than 30 minutes away via bus.
The hotel has a very good restaurant and a bar. There is nice outdoor patio seating too.The menu has a good selection including vegan dishes. The wait staff are very friendly and efficient.
My room included a small balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. I enjoyed sipping my tea on the balcony while watching boats and paddle boarders on the Menai Straight.
The queen bed was firm which I prefer. The rain shower was lovely. There was good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bathroom was quite clean. Their was noise through the walls and via hallway, however, not too late at night.
Overall, I would definitely stay at the Victoria again and would recommend it to others staying in North Wales."
