"This place was the highlight of our trip in Costa Rica. Usually a hotel is a hotel but these guys are on to something with this place. The property is immaculate and something out of a fairy tale. They offer lots of tours on site if you don’t want to traipse around too far and have more of a relaxed stay. Otherwise it’s not hard to get out to all the places la fortuna has to offer. If you’re not into driving and don’t want to go into town for dinner, it might be tricky for a longer stay as I imagine you’d get a bit bored of the menus but there’s enough variety between the two that you would be fine. My only annoyance was the speaker phone by the main pool- walkie talkies might make more sense for the staff instead of hearing the loud phone ring over the intercom. "

"The Springs is truly heaven on earth. I've been to Costa Rica fiver times since 2015 and my stays at the Springs have been most memorable than all of my other trips combined. Yes, it is one of the most expensive resorts in the area and I'm frugal but every dollar spent at the Springs is absolutely worth it. From the moment you arrive, everything feels intentional, thoughtfully, and beautifully maintained. Dining, the hot springs, Club Rios, the rooms, dining - every part of the experience has been incredible. It's been a month since my family's last stay and now that I'm back in the States, I find myself thinking about the resort almost every day. One of my favorite memories is sitting alone in a hot springs at 7am, watching an iguana float across the pool while rain fell around us. Moments like that is priceless. I would absolutely return again and I'm incredibly grateful for Mr. Lee Banks who created this amazing place. "
