"Crickhowell is a wonderful Town, and we found the Bear Inn an excellent choice to explore the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast and evening meals are excellent. We were upgraded to the stable block, which was spacious and very clean."

"Lovely hotel in stunning location. The decor in the annexe rooms was not really in keeping with the more modern building (the decor mirrored the main hotel which is older so makes more sense). But the extra space for a family was great and the main hotel was really impressive, the breakfast room took our breath away!! Would stay again definitely"

"Travelling for business stayed one night. Beautiful location, delightful old Manor House with an amazing view over the valley. Used the gym which is always a plus to have on site followed by the sauna. Food wad very good pricey but expected at this type of hotel. The place was a little dated in areas and could do with a revamp, showers failed to warm in my room, I could of raised this and I’m sure it would be sorted but at the time I was ok with it. All in all it was a nice stay would love to see the spa area brought up to date."
