"This hotel is not only old and outdated, but also extremely dirty. The air itself smelled of dust, making the entire stay uncomfortable. The walls were visibly dirty, and the carpet appeared as though it had not been cleaned in years. The photos shown online do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. They are clearly retouched and misleading, as the actual state of the hotel is far older and significantly dirtier than presented. The bathroom was very small and had mold throughout, which was unacceptable. The so-called “free breakfast” is not worth considering as a benefit and does not make up for the overall experience. I am genuinely surprised that this place is still operating given the condition of the furniture, sheets, and towels, all of which were in a very poor state."

"We had a pleasant stay at Plaza Hotel Premier Fukuoka. The room was the usual compact size for a Japanese hotel, but the central location was excellent — perfect for exploring the city."

"Incredibly thankful for staff allowing us to store our luggage for a few days prior to checking in! This made traveling between cities and islands way more enjoyable. We only stayed one evening at Oriental Express Fukuoka Tenjin however can say it is very convenient. Easy access to many amenities and shopping nearby, train station also within walking distance. Also enjoyed our breakfast buffet options and the welcome treat/time of happy hour in the lounge! The only feedback was the initial smell walking into the room, despite the hotel being a strict no smoking hotel. There was an odd smell but after opening window for a few hours, went away. Otherwise, excellent use of floor plan for those with lots of luggage. "

"Amazing hotel. Our room was very clean it had an amazing view of the beach and Fukuoka tower. The lobby and dinning area was something else. Great architecture. We had the breakfast buffet and it had everything you needed to start the day no real lines and easy to get a table. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. "

"A little bit care would improve visitor's feeling about the domecile, such as more kitchen utensils, some bags of tee or coffee, and toothbrushes."

"I could not even check in and had to find a different hotel at 10 pm. They said they would send check in instructions that would have a QR code, but that never happened. The reservation numbers I did receive were all denied by the check in system. I called the hotels contact number 3 times for it to never be picked up. I messaged the hotel and 3 days later still no response. I found a different hotel and contacted Expedia about all this and they also weren’t able to get ahold of the hotel."
