"It was my 4th visit to Taj Damdama and just like before the property did not fail to impress me with their hospitality. The resort is under renovation and took extra care to inform us about it and gave us room where we did not hear any noise and it did not feel that we are in a property where work is going on. The rooms are spacious and surrounded by plants and trees. The view from the room and the restaurant is quite natural and the vibe is very relaxing. Even the staff at Shamiyana, the chef took extra care by recommending the best dishes and taking genuine feedback from the guests. Taj Hotels always exceed the bars they have set previously. The food offered during breakfast was good, but I think the chef or cook could reduce the spiciness for the Western palate as not everyone is used to chilli spice hot tastes. Adding chilli sauce to a dish individually is easier than removing it from a dish cooked with chillies. My stay was good, and the hotel's positioning was great. It was easy to access shops. Calling an Uber service from the hotel was easy. "
