"It was very clean and staff was very helpful"

"The staff were lovely and accommodating and helped us with our luggage and provided a warm welcome. The room was very dirty, and not very well maintained. The aircon unit was filthy, and sounded like it was about to break. The walls and skirting boards needed repairing, and the whole room itself felt unclean. The towels were discoloured perhaps from being used over so many years. I wouldn’t stay here again."

"When you check in, the hotel requested a deposit of 10,000 peso or by credit card. I asked if I could leave USD with them, and the hotel refused it. For those who do not have a credit card and stay for a short term, they will have to change from USD to peso and change again when they leave the Philippines. This comes with a cost, in term of money and time. Perhaps, this policy should be clearly stated in hotel advertisement, so that I can chose another hotel that do not require it. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean, staff members are good, and the breakfasts and outdoor pool are fine."
