Hotel Star Inn Lisbon Aeroporto
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was clean and is a short walk to the airport, but they run shuttles every 15 minutes, so it was very convenient for us having an early morning flight. The dinner buffet was just okay, for the price I would have liked more options, but it was convenient as there were many options in the vicinity. If I ever fly out from Lisbon, I'll use this hotel again."
"This was a luxury hotel. The room was very nice with a king bed. It had a small workout room which I believe was open 24 hours. The top floor had a wonderful outdoor bar, pool, and seating/table area. The view was amazing from there. The neighborhood was very nice. It was a modern neighborhood with lots of high rise buildings. It was very close to the water and to the Oriente station which had everything you needed."
"This hotel has many excellent qualities (location and travel options including to the airport, super lovely staff, small but serviceable gym, free pool sauna steam room, lovely bar and outside seating area, spotlessly clean, provided free room water and even a bottle of wine on arrival) but some small draw backs (nope the air con in your room isn’t broken - it’s just very, VERY weak - and there are no back up fans, and the room toilet as a Perspex “pod” in your room means a real lack of privacy if you’re a couple or family). The negatives were not deal breakers during the stay and we had a lovely time but as we visit Portugal in high summer the air con would be a deal breaker for a future stay. If you get it at a good cost, then book- but if air con is a necessity (and check out the toilet pods definitely first if you’re room sharing!) then you may want to just have a think. The staff though were honestly wonderful :)"
"Everything was spectacular from rooms amenities, staff , food. Only complaint I have was housekeeping. Numerous locations we called for clean towels and water, but never received it. Housekeeping did not speak English. Therefore we had to call housekeeping on the phone and then they would not bring the towels or the sheets for 5 to 6 hours after we had requested, even after complaining about this, it continued throughout the whole trip."
"Locke is a unique hotel. Takes a minute to get use to the layout. The staff was amazing. Make sure you have reservations for the restaurants for dinner they stay full and the food was very good. The staff is accommodating and very friendly. The bartender Maz is amazing be sure to say hello to him. Nelson on -1 at the Whiskey bar make cocktails like fine art and the vibe is so chill if you like jazzy hip-hop. Then chill out on -3 at the cocktail bar that has a funky vibe, you can catch Maz up there as well it opens at 10pm till am. The studio room is small, but very clean with a complete kitchen with a washer/dryer. It was nice going home with all clean clothes. Try to get a room over looking the pool and not the street, the traffic was a bit loud on the street side. Get your pool chair early. It fills up quickly. I highly recommend the Locke. Close walking to main shopping area, or it's an inexpensive Uber to main shopping and sights."
