Good area, friendly staff

"Not knowing the area, we took a chance for a girls' weekend and booked a stay at Marina Bay. We were more than pleasantly surprised with the area, many fun shops and restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed the room, comfortable and everything worked! Also, the staff we encountered were very helpful, kind and personable. We will stay there again. If I had to find anything wrong, I will say maybe a little better view than the one we had from our room, but that won't keep me from booking again at Marina Bay. "

"The people that work there are PHENOMENAL. The place is a little older but had all the island life amenities we needed. A soft, clean bed. A hot shower with good pressure. And black out curtains. Our room also had a kitchenette and a big mini fridge. Employees were kind and attentive. Great seafood restaurant up the road a bit, amazing access to the National Seashore. We were there end of March 2024, so off season. The island is a wonderful adventure. I don't see myself returning during peak season due to sheer volume of people but I'd definitely come back off season. Several restaurants available."
