The hotel is located 50 meters from the champs elysees. The location is really amazing. Right near the metro station. The hotel is a boutique hotel. Reasonable breakfast. Vegetables missing. Overall I would highly recommend it.

What you get when you wait until the last minute
This hotel will teach me to wait until the last minute to find a hotel forcing me to settle. The location in the city seemed great but the street was LOUD. Thought the windows were closed, and yes, I double checked them multiple times, I could clearly hear EVERYTHING happening outside the window, from the simple conversations to the people revving their cars down the street all hours of the night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was relatively clean, however the carpets look like they have not been updated (possibly cleaned) in 30 years making me a little concerned. The tiny bathroom with basically a stall'less shower was a bit tricky for the family. If I was staying more then the couple days I was there, I would have regretted it more. On the bright side, my family has a great story about the strange Paris hotel we stayed in, which we now laugh about.

The hotel is a total disaster. I would not recommend anyone to go there. There is tub or shower. The outlets don’t work, there are outdated. Carpet is dirty. Expedia should stop doing business with this hotel.

This hotel has a great location in terms of closeness to shopping and restaurants and The Arc de Truimph. The lobby was nice, new and clean and the staff wonderful. Our room however was on the street. One night the restauarabt next door had a dj/party until 1 am and our walls shook. Another night the restaurant across the stree played loud music. Our shower was broken and did not work well and our room was outdated.

Beware of overcharged Breakfast
The hotel was a good expierence since the price of the hotel was high. The most disaaponting thing was the breakfast. We were charged 18 Euros for a Yogurt and Bannana evrey mornig we stayed there. Way overpriced when all our hotels in Germany included a real breakfast for free.

Nice little hotel with the PERFECT location on the Champs. The colors and decor are amazing! The reason I rated staff as OK is not because the actual staff are not good. On the contrary they are super friendly and go out of their way to help. But the problem is the hotel is understaffed and whatever problem we faced, the staff were not able to make quick decisions because the manager was on vacation and unavailable. Also there were people who couldn’t answer questions because they were “stagiers”. The elevator cannot fit more than one person and one piece of luggage. Literally. We were three and it took us forever to take our luggage to the third floor. The staff in the lobby (only two people: the front desk employee and a stagier who took the bags up) went out of their way to help but there wasn’t much to do with the size of the elevator and the time it took. Without luggage the elevator fits two people. We tried once to fit three people together to save time. One of us had to bend under the other’s arms and it was a funny experience. I really cannot understand how this hotel is rated 4 stars. It IS a nice hotel and I would recommend a stay there but it doesn’t have 4 stars standards. The rooms are super clean and super comfortable but the door often blocks and doesn’t close on its own. We were able to find a way to turn the knob and manually push the lock back inside so it closes. Tv has a lot of channels. Toiletries are excellent.

Recommended hotel
I was on a short visit but the hotel is so perfect for that. It is near by everything, and right on Champ Elysees, staff is so helpful & friendly, room is a bit small but served the purpose and was not annoying me, bathroom was spacious and clean, bed is comfortable. Room is clean, wi fi is good, coffee machine and fridge for your convenience and Heating temperature was great. I recommend it and will go back if I to visit Paris again.

Hotel receptionist and catering staff very friendly and polite. The hotel has a good location very close to the Arc d' Triumph. However the hotel is average with an average breakfast for 18 euros. Pillows need to be softer. It was like putting my head on bricks

My Paris stay with my Daughter
Went to Paris for business and my daughter came over to be with me. Hotel and rooms were very clean, staff very friendly, breakfast was not much choice but acceptable, perfect location to be if you want to do shopping, so many good French restaurants just few minutes away to sample different French food (our favorite restaurant was l'Alsace). Nice and safe to just walk around at night. Taxi stand on the corner just 2 mins away or even calling Uber arrives within 2-4 mins as it is in a prime location. I will definitely be staying there on my next business trips.

Hotel within minutes to the vibrant Champs-Elysee
The hotel has a perfect location within minutes to the busy Champs-Elysee district. The rooms are tidy and the bathroom is spacious. Unfortunately, you can hear everything from the thin walls from room to room.

One night in Paris
A business trip I needed to be in the Champs Elysees, extremely conveneient five minutes walk from where I needed to be. I walked past the entrance to the hotel twice looked more like a shop than a hotel reception could have been better signed but then if I had bothered to take the door number I would ahve found it straight away. Quirky decor smallish rooms but comfortable enough.Reasonable access to wifi. Great value for money. Down side for me is the hotel insisted on copying my credit car althopugh I had pre paid and they already had card details. They insisted that it was to check the card against payment but as I ahd already paid that seemed disingenuous. Further they had aledgedly disposed of the photo copy before I checked out the following morning which was therefore before they knew if I had used the mini bar or not. Having had my account hacked after staying previously at another French Hotel where my card was copied, I find it extremely objectionable notwithstanding pointless. Some hotels swipe your card , this is a far safer way of working. However, hard to beat for convenience and value in that location.

The hotel location is excellent, the staff very nice and helpfull, a small and a clean hotel, rooms are small too. the only problem is that the elevator barely fit one person, i didnt use it at all,so i had to use the stairs wich are also very tiny! Value money location v good

A Jewel of a Hotel on the Champ!!
I highly recommend the Cristal Hotel. It is beautiful, comfortable, clean, cozy!! The staff is excellent, very friendly, courteous and they will go the extra mile to ensure your happiness and comfort for your entire visit to Paris. The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible to all the major sites in Paris!!

Great hotel
Hotel was great! Location was steps from the Champs-Élysées. The bed was the most comfortable we slept on while on our European vacation. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I ever make it back to Paris!

Excellent, centrally located hotel
We stayed in this hotel in 2011 and were happy to see that the standards haven't slipped in the meantime. This is an excellent hotel, very centrally located, and only a 4min walk to George V metro stop on the Champs-Élysées. My one complaint is that the Aircon system was "centrally-controlled" all the time, meaning that whether I was comfortable for the night or not was at the whim of management. On two of the three nights that we stayed, the system was set to heating rather than cooling, and I found it difficult to sleep because it was so hot. As I was effectively locked-out of switching the system to cooling, no change I made could cool the room. All aircon settings should be available to guests at all times.

Nice friendly staff, clean hotel, very chic decor and a stones throw from the Champs Elysees what more could you want ! Didn't eat here though so cannot comment on the food in the hotel. It did have a great bonus of free wifi though, which was very good for general browsing, email etc
