Good location, tired furnishings.

Turned up at 1pm and was told I had to wait until 2pm. Was asked if I could pay in cash but as staying 11 nights did not carry that much cash so eventually agreed to take debit card. I had booked a studio room and was given a room which in no way matched the description and they had the cheek to say I been upgraded but was told the room could be changed for a supplement. I was given a room near the bar area which has the only wi fi access and hence was likely to be fairly noisy. The main bin was outside the room and had attracted lots of flies. On previous visits to Cyprus I had seen second hand furniture shops and wondered who bought their clapped out furniture and now I know. The room had obviously been recently painted as not only had they painted the walls but also part of the door frames windows and furniture. Rooms had obviously been well cleaned as there was an overpowering smell of bleach which took days to clear and tainted the taste of my food. First impressions were disappointing but after a few days I began to appreciate the place. The location is great and there is a calm relaxing vibe. Staff are helpful and friendly and work hard to keep the place tidy. Although the place was almost full it was quiet and I managed to sleep fairly well. Bins in the room were changed daily and sheets and towels once during the 11 night stay.

Polecam na kilkudniowy pobyt jako baza wypadowa

Obiekt typowo wakacyjny. Przed sezonem spokój. Klimatyzacja/ogrzewanie płatne dodatkowo ( uważam, że brak ogrzewania w okresie zimowym zawilgaca cały budynek). Apartamenty położone w spokojnej okolicy w odległości ok. 10-15 min. od przystanków komunikacji miejskiej. Pafos- jako miejsce wypoczynku - dość dobry punkt do zwiedzania okolicy. Potrzeba 1 dnia aby przyzwyczaić się do miasta. Reasumując - duży plus za czystość , za życzliwość obsługi.

Good value for money tourist apartment.

The Panklitos tourist apartments provide basic but adequate base for touring the Paphos area. Located in a quiet neighbourhood away from the main tourist area, the staff are very helpful, the rooms are very clean and there is a small bar and swimming pool. Each room has a cooker and fridge. Air conditioner only in bedroom, which can be used a heater in cold weather. There is a charge for this. The Wi-fi is very patchy and needs to be accessed from the bar area. Whilst the rooms are comfortable enough, the stone floors transmit noise such as table and chair moving and can be annoying. There is also a possible problem with noisy neighbours especially those with children. Nevertheless, the overall experience is pleasant and certainly worth considering.

В отеле не было нормальной горячей воды - из крана текла еле-еле теплая, о том, чтобы нормально помыться можно было только мечтать. Заселение строго после 14:00, при том, что номер был готов и раньше. Отдельные деньги за кондиционер тоже не добавили радости. Но, в принципе, можно переночевать, кухня есть, кровать есть.

NO HEAT

BEWARE! HEAT is NOT included with your booking. If you want heat or air conditioning, you will need to pay extra upon check-in. This is not how the room is described on Orbitz!!! We booked this hotel in mid-January and the temperature was about 50 degrees F in the room and we could not get heat. I would book elsewhere.

Nice hotel, the same as shown in photos, friendly staff, the only bad things are the awkward location of you don't have a car and wifi doesn't work in the apartments. The rest was good.

Unacceptable Charge at the Panklitos

The facility is adequate, hospitality friendĺy, parking unlimited, but the request for extra charge for controlling the room temperature was appalling. Hotel guests should not pay extra for using the loo or the TV nor the A/C. We requested double bed, but received two twin beds and the lack of heating - both made the stay unpleasant. We do not recommend this facility.

Enjoyable stay at Panklitos

Stayed one week at the Panklitos Apartments. Had an enjoyable stay. There are two blocks, one is new and the other is older. I stayed in the older block. I was a solo traveller and had a studio apartment. It was nice with a balcony and two single beds. It had sufficient amenities but furniture was dated.everything was very clean. The staff, Soula, Sofia and Andreas are lovely and they cannot do enough for you, always working to maintain the Apartments and gardens. It is in a quieter part of Paphos. I have been to Cyprus many times and this was more of a break on foot, not hiring a car.it is only a short walk to the sea and the Tomb of the Kings" it is close to some lovely restaurants on the main road. There are two bus routes nearby to get to the harbour, and also surrounding places such as coral bay, polis, latchi and further afield, such as Nicosia and Limassol. No need to hire a car. There is a lovely coastal walk for about 4km form the harbour to the lighthouse and beyond, which many joggers use, including myself. If you are looking for a place to stay in Paphos which is basic, value for money, clean and quiet, this is the place for you. I recommend this most highly.

Hyggelig lite hotel som ligger kort vei til Kings Road med div restauranter og butikker .Kort vei ned til havna .Liten kjapp biltur til vakre old pafos .Mere behjelpelig personale (som snakker godt engelsk) har jeg ikke sett maken til :) Har pent svømmebaseng ,men litt kalt slutten av mars ;)

To nie jest hotel, tylko umeblowane skromnie pokoje z kuchnią i łazienką. Monotonne drogie śniadania (taniej nawet w porcie) , ogrzewanie/klima 4 euro extra, w zimie polowanie na ciepłą wodę. Tylko dla aktywnych zainteresowanych tanim noclegiem.

Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin mukavia, antoivat heti karttoja ja kertoivat mihin kannattaa mennä. Surprisingly good

Given the price - which is less than the cost of a bed in a dorm room in other places on the island, this stay was incredible value. There was nothing luxurious about the room of course, but everything was clean, functional and seems like it has been refurbished relatively recently. There was nothing at all that stood out as needing improvement. Although it's a bit cold to use now it's December, the swimming pool was immaculately maintained and the outdoor seating area was a nice place to relax. The staff were also great - this hotel is highly recommended.
