We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mespilea!
All the staff were amazing—always welcoming and ready with a smile, which made us feel right at home. The location offered a lovely view of the Old Town, adding to the charm of our visit. The only minor issue was that the property was a bit tricky to find at first; my partner and I got a little confused, and we noticed a few other guests had the same experience. Still, once we arrived, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
Our stay at Casa Mespilea was absolutely wonderful. It’s a glorious place with quiet low key vibes, a wonderful courtyard space to eat and fantastically kind staff. I only had breakfast on one day, but the pancakes were fantastic and the fruit was wonderfully fresh. The room was comfy and clean, with divine air conditioning as well.
If you’re looking for a nice relaxing spot within walking distance of almost all of Old Town, good transport links to the harbour and chill vibes, this is a wonderful choice. Special mention to the best girl on the staff; Pantera! (I hope I’ve spelled that right.) You will be accosted for cuddles while you have a morning coffee.
One of the loveliest hotels I have had the opportunity to stay at ever. Owner is architect and it is obvious in details. Location is 10/10 in Paphos close to all service. Inspiring in every sense! Don’t miss!! It is worth a special trip to Paphos just to stay here.

While the location of the hotel is wonderful and the building charming, it is mediocre at best in terms of comfort and customer service. Moreover, we found the room and bathroom too small and we were unpleasantly surprised with the inappropriate behavior of staff in certain occasions.
Top location in old town of paphos near everything.
My room was just prefect with best view and double balcony. Chek in was fast and the staff are so friendly and kind.
I had a birthday travelling solo and all the stuff just made it so magical for me.
Thank you dear hotel, can’t wait to stay with you again
A pleasant little place. I visited in off season - added a day to a business trip to Cyprus to see the World Heritage site.
Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms, apparently each unique. Well kept, and accessed through a pretty open courtyard. Right in the centre of the old town too.
Would probably be a lovely place for a couple visiting Paphos.
To start with, the hotel is a beauty. The garden at the entrance, as well as the dining area, is neat and cosy.
The rooms are like small studios with a kitchenette, a seating area, a queen-sized bed, and a good-sized shower. It was clean, nicely furnished, hot and cold water, and an excellent air conditioner.
The location is perfect, in the heart of the old city, yet quiet and walkable distance from cafes, shops and bars.
The staff is very kind, welcoming and helpful.
The home that has become Casa Mespelia has a long and interesting history and the owner Costas knows it all. As an architect, he has also managed the remodeling of the home into a lovely hotel with a traditional feel. Costas and his staff Arif and Giannis are extremely pleasant, competent and helpful. The lovely restaurant in the inner garden has very interesting and tasty dishes. If you like smaller, more personal hotels, my husband and I highly recommend Casa Mespelia.
Had a lovely stay for one night. Hotel was very central to the old town bars and restaurants. The room was clean and tidy on arrival. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food menu had great choice, but unfortunately we had already booked other restaurants beforehand. Overall will come back again
We spent four nights in this well located property. Our room was spacious and comfortable and staff were helpful and friendly. There is a roof terrace where you can sit in sun or shade. There is also a good restaurant in the beautiful courtyard.
The room was a loft room with twin beds on top and a queen bed below. The air conditioning and all electrics in the room were on a timed circuit and cutoff automatically after some period even if you are in the room.
The A/C blew directly on my face in the queen bed. It was too hot to turn off (especially in the loft where the kids were), but miserable to keep on. Eventually, say 03:00 in the morning we turned around and slept at the foot of the bed.
Also, the owner has signs everywhere, “do not unplug the lamps”?? (Why, I need to use the electric outlet?) “do not use the towels to remove makeup”?? Do not take towels to the beach, do not leave the lights on (why? He put them on timer anyway), “keep the interior door closed”, “do not switch off sockets below the A/C controller”. You also can’t leave the A/C on when you leave the room so it’s always hot upon your return. I called about this and the owner assured me the A/C would stay on, but it was off upon our return from the Tomb of Kings.
The bathroom is scary. Low ceiling (200cm), toilet is separating from the wall, shower smells moldy and has wooden boards for flooring.
I did finally get to sleep at 05:00 am.
The location is excellent but the room is expensive considering the deficiencies.
