It was a very comfortable place to stay conveniently located. Had a nice touch of the Goan culture. And very central.

Highlights!! 1. Overall a Good Hotel 2. @Room No.215, Cute Balcony 3. Very Clean, Fresh, Room and Toilet 4. Adequate LED Lighting 5. Energy Saving Lloyd's new Split A/C 6. TV 7. Wardrobe 8. Clean n Fresh Towels 9. OYO Toiletries with Boutique Herbals 10. Lift 11. Calm ambience 12. Courteous Reception 13. All round service, even at late night 14. Proper GST billing, etc. What could be improved? 1. Price Tag for the accommodation are variable and slightly higher @Rs.1900/- (Basic Rate around Rs.1200/- + GST would have been perfect), 2. Advance Communication with the Hotel was difficult via Hotels.com/OYO rooms as I had to pay 100% advance - and still no confirmation call from the Hotel till I reached the place. The website had a non-functional phone no 3. TV had very few options / Channels - not acceptable (cutting the cost here is not good) if we have kids during stay in Holidays 4. Wardrobe had no hangers/provision to hang (though I too did not ask for any) 5. Washroom should have had some holders/racks for the toiletries 6. Split A/C Outdoor unit was hanged inside the Balcony - defying the usage of Balcony, eye sore 7. The Breakfast offered was not upto the mark as per the options & Quality is concerned There was no non-veg option and even Eggs were being charged extra if one has to order (Eggs are Rs.5/- per unit - the basic price in India). Taking care of these 7 points can get them 5/5

Great hotel not well know yet!
This is such a great hotel that's not very well known yet. As soon as we checked in we received such great welcoming friendly service. The hotel is older but they have taken over and refurbished the rooms. They rooms are a very good size for the area. Rooms are well designed and nicely decorated. Beds are a bit hard but is common in India. Cannot say enough of the manager Roland. Having done extensive travel as well as worked many years in the industry, this is one of the best hotel managers I've seen in a while. So kind and friendly and very welcoming. Has gone out of his way MANY times throughout out stay without even asking. We had some problems with a ticket we booked and he personally took us there to ensure we were taken care of. Every day was there to say hi, ensure we had a good stay and everything we needed. Would without a doubt stay here again. Only thing to remember is that this is still India and in a busy area so you will have the noise of horns. Beds are a bit still but seem to be the case everywhere.

Great stay !
Great stay at the newly renovated Mayfair hotel in Panjim. Small, charming and extremely friendly service , we will be happy to stay with Roland and his team again and again !
