My daughter had forgotten her phone charger at home, and Evelyn offered an unexpected but wonderful solution. She asked if we could borrow a charger, explaining that they don’t sell them at the hotel. My daughter offered to return it in a few hours, but Evelyn insisted, “No, don’t worry about it. You’re staying here for two days—just use it and return it when you check out.” That level of trust and generosity was truly amazing and something we’ve never experienced before. We didn’t even know her, yet she went above and beyond to help us."
