We supply soap, a combination shampoo/conditioner as well as a combination bath/shower gel. If any guest needs a top up supply we are always happy to oblige. If you were short of these items during your stay then we must apologise but as standard they are included in each room on arrival.

Nonetheless we appreciate constructive criticism and your comment will be investigated and promptly dealt with.Regarding toiletries, these should have been included and we apologies that you did not receive yours. We have an onsite office and if you had made us aware we would have been very happy to deliver these to you.

Thank you for your feedback and we must apologise for the issue with ants that ocurred during your stay. It has been a problem this month and we have addressed it as best we can. When we are notified of an issue we put ant powder down and spray the inside of the door. We also repeat this at every changeover. We have enlisted the assistance of a pest control company who have confirmed that we are doing everything we can. Ants seem to be a problem for a short period of the year and then they disappear as quickly as they arrived. We are very sorry you were inconvenienced. We apologise that there was an issue with dust behind the bed. Our cleaning team take on regular deep cleans for all our properties but do not dust behind the bed on each changeover. Whilst there may have been light dust we do not accept it was thick dust as you have stated. We hope that despite these incidents you enjoyed your stay in Cornwall.

It is difficult for us to investigate in more detail as having left the review anonymously we are unable to trace which property you stayed in. If you had contacted us during your stay we would have been happy to attend and address any issues there and then. With regard to the dishes and cutlery, due to Covid we ask guests to fill the dishwasher and switch it on prior to departure so that it is clean for the next arrivals. The dishwasher is deliberately left full and not emptied by our staff to avoid the risk of possible contamination. It is possible that our cleaners did not notice that some items were not placed in the dishwasher and if this was the case, we must apologise for this oversight.

We note your comments about the time of check-out but unfortunately we need to allow this time in-between guests not only for cleaning but to address any maintenenace issues that may arise. We were sorry to hear you had experienced some noise from the refridgerator but unfortunately you have left the review anonymously so we are unable to trace which villa you stayed in. In fairness no-one else has passed such a comment but all the same, if there is an issue we would have liked to address it.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property, but we are obviously concerned to read that the villa in which you stayed was not up to our usual high standards. Since you have left the review anonymously, it is unfortunate that we are unable to identify the date and villa number in which you stayed to investigate further. We do have a housekeeping team on-site and if you had made us aware of an issue with any aspect of the cleanliness we would have happily addressed it most promptly. Having looked at all the reviews on this site going back to January 2019, I can see that they are all positive with good comments about the cleanliness. We must apologise that we fell below our usual standards on this occasion and we would welcome the opportunity to prove this to you on a future visit. Kind regards
