"The hotel has newly refurbished plodding and bar now I hope that the rooms will follow. Whilst the rooms are looking dated and worn. The hotel staff keep them clean and in the best condition possible given their age. The beds are large and comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and have an amazing amount of hot water. "

"Strong sewer smell in the bathroom the entire time, also met with a bug traveling across the bathroom floor. Toilet paper is rough. Desk surface, info brochure and window sill had dark crumbs, either cookie crumbs or dead ants, couldn’t tell for sure. Restaurant ran out of pork schnitzel, so they offered chicken instead (not on the menu), which I appreciated, but then they poured BBQ sauce all over it without asking (the pork schnitzel would have been either with pepper or mushroom sauce). Overall, disappointing from an Ibis hotel, I had better experiences at other Ibis hotels."
