"My wife and I did a day trip to Midland and the following day to the surrounding area. Our stayover preference was something reasonably priced and, most importantly, clean. Kings Motel was exactly that. We would recommend this place to anyone who's not expecting a lot of perks, just simple, and like I said ... clean accommodation close to everything. We will be back. "Good value, friendly staff, nice restaurant, big play area for kids, and pool sauna and work out area are a bonus. Didn't take advantage of the trails but noticed lots of ATV's that I assume can be rented for the trails."

"You can tell that this place was once loved and well taken care of. It is in desperate need of maintenance and updates. The public areas were dirty and in disrepair in spots. The rooms we stayed in needed paint and the plumbing was backed up. The beds were old and sagged in the middle. The fitness room had several machines that were out of order and they were all very old (like from the 80s). The staff was polite but none of them seemed to want to be there. The food was mediocre. The view was absolutely beautiful. With a little love and money, it could be a great destination."

"We had a buisness/casual stay at the Jw, Rosseau and if I were to sum the short trip into one sentence, it would be: “The JW Marriott Lake Rosseau was a country, relaxed vibe with good entertainment and activities.” The restaurants were decent. Excellent options in near by towns. But you don’t have to leave the resort! Beautiful location and well maintained grounds. Please deep clean a bit more within the rooms. This was a minor detail but would be the extra mile! See you again! Special thank-you to the valet team."

"The pool area has mold, cobwebs, dehumidifiers caked with mold, pool floor needs cleaning, ceilings are moisture damaged and walls are peeling due to humidity/water damage. Rooms were gorgeous, very clean and the view was beautiful. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Especially Shay Lynn who helped us during check in. Bright, bubbly and makes you feel welcome. Coffee, toiletries and tea were restocked each day."
