From the moment you arrive, Kim and Doug welcome you like old friends. Their warmth is matched only by their deep knowledge of the area, generously offering tips on everything from scenic walks to the best local eats. The inn itself is beautifully appointed—each room thoughtfully redecorated with a modern yet cozy flair. The bathrooms, in particular, are a standout: spacious, sparkling, and spa-like. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Just a short stroll brings you to Bala’s quaint shops, inviting restaurants, and the iconic KEE to Bala. Whether you're here for a weekend escape or a longer stay, the Cranberry Moon Inn offers a serene, stylish base for exploring Muskoka. Highly recommended—just don’t tell too many people. "

"Jolly Roger is like stepping back into another time in a good way. Grounds are well maintained.Staff is friendly but for a place that rents ATVs no one seems to know anything about the trails. Offering trail tours would really enhance the experience "

"We had a concert at the Kee and came from out of town so decided to find a place near by to stay. We were so over the top impressed with the Dudley inn. Not only was it less then 8 mins cab ride the the venue but it is SO cute and quaint. Our king room was clean so spacious and stunning. The bed was so comfortable and I literally had to take a photo of the brand of pillows to buy for home. The amenities were also a bonus - water bottles, neapresso, tea, Muskoka chairs out front etc. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone that is wanting to stay in the bala area "

"Amazing place for families with kiddos! Tennis, pickleball, canoeing, kayaking, nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi, sauna with lake view! Great breakfast included. We absolutely love it and will go back again!"
