What an amazing find, it was in our DK book on Canada and I always like to stay in various hotels etc to break the monotony of boring square rooms....we certainly succeeded with The Secret Garden Inn. I had booked the Retreat Room...not realising the bathroom was actually private but separate , Kathy assumed this was a mistake and moved is to The Turret Room, which was lovely....plenty of sitting room, nice bathroom and everything pristine! Breakfast was excellent too!

Chris was a welcoming host, provided us all the details we required for our short stay the local town of Wakefield had great place to eat with wonderful views as a backdrop.

A wonderful motel, very comfortable with lovely surroundings and the room was perfect. We would definitely stay again. Staff were friendly too. Loved our stay ❤️

Nice size room. Pretty quiet. Not bad gym and good pool

We love independent hotels rather than the chains. This hotel was wonderful, so cosy & everyone was really friendly. Breakfast was excellent, made to order. Our 2 bedroom lodge was a great size for our family of 5. Everything was very clean and kirchen is modern & well equiped. Rooms are spacious and neat. Would definitely recommend and return. Max on front desk very helpful . The games room upstairs in main area is great, lots of books, games, dvds to borrow and pool table/ air hockey. Tennis court looked in great condition too.

This was perfect for my trip to see a conference at the Canada Tire Centre. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the staff were very helpful.

Friendly and helpful owner. Got an upgrade due to guest checking put late

I had an excellent 2-night stay at this property… in a very pleasant room. A really quiet & relaxing location.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The food was excellent, and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and spacious. Everything made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Although we experienced a few minor hiccups, they were handled professionally and promptly by the staff, which we truly appreciated. The team’s responsiveness and attention to detail made a positive impression on us. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would happily recommend this hotel to others!

Smooth check in. Great size room. Comfortable bed (feels a bit soft but no pain waking up). All the minimum amenities provided in the kitchen.
