This was THE WORST Marriott experience I’ve ever had. Avoid this hotel. Part of the property has been updated, part is still decades old. The housekeeping staff, while friendly, cannot speak any English. The service to our room was unreliable and really unorganized. Sometimes the beds got made, sometimes they didn’t. The floor was never vacuumed. (We stayed for ten nights.) Sometimes an odd handful of dishes would be turned upside down on the counters sitting on paper towels. She occasionally emptied the garbage. We had problems with all three TVs in our rooms over and over again, and for the first five-ish days called multiple times a day to have them fixed. We’d wait for hours for someone to show up and had to call multiple times each day to get someone to come. All three TVs had to be fixed, one being completely replaced. None of the remotes worked. One tv wouldn’t turn off unless you unplugged it. One constantly glitched. The hotel is poorly maintained and the front desk staff is rude. It’s run down, dirty, and understaffed. WiFi continually kicked us off. One entire day there was no hot water in the hotel. We all had to take cold showers. The breakfast was nasty. Eggs and ham or sausage every day. No variety. Eating area was always dirty. The pool was nice but every time we walked around in the pool long clumps of hair would get stuck on our toes and feet. I stay at Marriott hotels because I know what I’m going to get. In 40 years of hotel experience,this was the WORST.
