"We loved the peaceful atmosphere. So tranquil and quiet. Seeing the stars and waking up to the birds chirping away was so refreshing.
Katy the host was lovely and accommodating to our needs."

Well known hotel complex in the forest. Worth going for the wildlife , birds etc. Good tour schedule you can join. We did the bird walks early mornings. We chose a garden view room which was dark with wood walls and not enough lighting. The bathroom was adequate but a little out dated. The restaurant was good , staff friendly and bird life and walking opportunities beyond any expectations we could have had.

Spotless room. Amazing location with views you’d never tire of
There was an issue with our room and it was sorted immediately
You do need to self cater as the tea room has very limited opening hours. However, the lodges are well equipped to do so

We stayed at several locations on out journey from Sydney to Cairns, and this place stood out as an absolute Gem. Paul and Craig were just wonderful hosts, the location was stunning and the accommodation was spacious, luxurious and supremely comfortable. Pauls food was brilliant. I cant recommend this place too much. Stay there! Roddy and Rachel

Overall, it was a very nice stay. The property is well maintained and in a peaceful location. There appears to be only a few cottages/rooms. The rooms are modern, plush and very comfortable. Some nice extra touches in the rooms. Nice, thick robes, good toiletries and also some self catering items (kettle, toaster, fridge, cutlery etc). The only thing that is somewhat negative, is the WI-FI situation. It initially appeared (according to the in-room booklet) that there was only WI-FI available in...

Nice quiet position with good facilities; loved the sports complex with the crazy golf, gym, pool etc.
9.7 /10 due to air con hit and miss and no lower than 22 deg . Would recommend though

Room was very clean, modern and comfortable.
Only downside was that there were no pots, pans etc. supplied with the kitchenette… this meant we couldn’t use it as planned and would have probably booked a cheaper room elsewhere without these features if we had known.
There were some snacks drinks etc. in the room but they were quite expensive so didn’t use these. There is a Cole’s around the corner. Shame the hotel felt the need to charge crazy prices for what would have been a nice treat....
