"This was our first stay with this provider and we were really impressed. Very luxurious feel, nice amenities in the room and great service at the front desk, plus good free self serve coffee options in the lobby. The room was clean and very comfortable. We had a fun evening at the on site bar, enjoying the food and drinks. The location is perfect for exploring the downtown core on foot, for grabbing the streetcar to go further afield, or to take a short drive to see destinations on the outskirts of town. Also, most of the tour companies seem to have their pick up point conveniently within a block of the hotel. The valet parking service, while at a cost, is appreciated since self parking in Portland is limited and challenging."

The rooms have outdoor patios with fire pits or balconies that overlook the river, and the natural landscaping of pine trees, rocks and native plants give the lodge an authentic woodsy atmosphere. The restaurant was great, the staff accommodating, the decor appealing and the rooms comfortable."
