This hotel was very comfortable and the staff were excellent! Our room was in the stable block and was lovely, but it didn't have any wifi access. To get on to the internet you had to go to reception!

It was good. However, one big thing missing. They really need to rethink the pet friendliness. We have a small dog and we were not allowed to bring him. A country hotel like this should allow this.

Lovely characterful hotel. Convenient for train and short walk into the beautiful town. Weird lift but it worked fine! Great breakfast. Only downside was some noise from port during day, but not an issue for me as I was out and about. Would definitely stay again in this characterful and atmospheric hotel, but just one night next time.
