Pool - indoor pool with slide was very good for kids. Outdoor pool and plash park was not open during the spring of 2026.
Movie theater - every night is a movie night and the theater has a very good recliner sofa seat.
The resort itself is located in very prime location, there is an outlet mall just in front of the resort and there are many restaurants close by. Also beach and broad walk is just 5 mins drive. "

I rated this as excellent because even though it older and there were a few flaws (tear in the carpet) it was clean and the staff were excellent. Very nice people who are eager to make your stay great. Excellent location. Went for a weekend concert and the walk was very close. "The best thing about the Tidelands is the location. It's close to all of the boardwalk, we wrre in the ocean view room with balcony. So many places to eat, a coffeehouse below or cheaper Dunkin Donuts 2 doors down. The staff is also great. Very friendly and helpful. There are two pools, one with a bar with drinks and a snack. Yes its a bit worn and dated, but that's Ocean City in general. This is our second stay and we plan a third for next year. "
