The property needs a lot of work. The first room we had the bathroom was rusted everywhere. It was disgusting. The hallway floors were filthy and there were holes in the walls baseboards ripped off everything was just so old and has not been updated. The lobby was nice and the staff was very helpful. The second room we had the ac never cooled the room down the ac unit looked like it has been there since the hotel was built. Great location but they really need to spend money and update the rooms!!!!

Great, classic old school Chicago hotel. I really enjoyed my stay, and everything I needed to get to was within walking distance. Did not eat at the onsite restaurant, as there were better options close by. My view of the lake was phenomenal, and the bed was very comfortable
