Wonderful place - clean and quite

A place full of character with very helpful staff. Very cosy and rural, great place to get away from the busy areas!

The best property without any big franchises, well maintained & beautiful rooms

Very friendly and welcoming family and staff. Clean comfortable rooms with great views. It was cold when we were there so having the aircon switched to heating was a boon. The food was good and filling which was appreciated, as the nearest restaurants and shops are 10 minutes walk away. Breakfasts are freshly prepared but as this is a small hotel it is not buffet style, it is nonetheless filling and tasty. Bikes and motorcycles are available for hire at the hotel.

This was a lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent and the cookery class a great experience. The added bonus of an upgrade to a suite for our last night just capped a perfect stay.

For the price you pay you can’t complain about a clean bed, hot showers, working AC, good breakfast and a pool.

Good hotel within a good location not too far from the busy area of Sapa town. All walkable.

This is a great location if you’re wandering around Hanoi in the day! Some neighboring streets are super touristy, but with the right left and right turns, the area is equally packed with locals. It’s a nice hotel but very basic facilities; essentially, just a room with an en-suite! We booked deluxe and it was still quite basic, so keep that in mind if you’re going for an even more basic room option!

Came here with a group of friends for a weekend getaway and we had such a great time. The resort is spacious, super green, and surrounded by mountains we spent so much time just walking around, taking in the view. We played pickleball and even had a small football match in the afternoon, which was a fun surprise. At night we booked the herbal baths and chilled by the pool. Everything felt very local and calming, not touristy or loud

I loved staying at the Sofitel metropole, it was a wonderful experience. It's the second time I have been there and had really looked forward to returning and it did not disappoint. The level of service is really excellent and the staff anticipate your every need. I stayed in the historical wing and the room was really beautiful. The food and bar choices are also fantastic with a lot of different experiences on offer. I couldn't fault it. It's one of Asias great hotels!

Clean spacious rooms with a delightful owner who will assist you in organising activities.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

An almost new hotel with wonderful views of the mountains. First class staff make this a special place. Extremely happy with our stay.

I booked this hotel only for one night, I wish I could have stayed for longer. The hotel is immaculate but I have to say the staff really make your stay memorable. I organised a Halong Bay boat tour through them, very simple. My room was gorgeous, with a balcony to relax on, all spotlessly clean. Complimentary water and snacks are provided. Breakfast is delicious and varied, I recommend the pho. The hotel is in the Old Quarter so everything is walking distance. The staff are so friendly...

This hotel despite the moderate cost of rooms is quite exceptional, very friendly and helpful staff, most staff speak good English. restaurant and food is top quality . In fact the service in this hotel is the same as you would get in a 5-star hotel. I am a retired hospitality lecturer and very fussy but I was really impressed by Emerald waters Hotel
