Peaceful setting, beautiful lake, incredible building (like a stately home)

2nd time staying in this hotel Staff are always very friendly. Breakfast is very good, has a lot of options. The rooms are always clean and quiet. Good value for money and location. Short walk to main shopping area and train station etc Would definitely go back

So close to everything - transport, shops and restaurants. Excellent communication from hotel throughout. Very clean with very comfortable bed and high quality bedding. We loved our balcony. Very chilled for a coffee. Proper coffee from a Nespresso machine. Great, plentiful breakfast which did not run out. Excellent restaurant attached. Thank you. Great stay.

Clean room, staff helpful , breakfast was good .

Excellent hotel, in a very convenient position for shops and all forms of transport.

The hotel was amazing ,the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was very well kept and modern and so was the whole hotel! The breakfast was good quality and very traditional and of course a friendly environment. Thank you Scandic! We’ll come here again!

A most beautiful setting. Very hospitable. Extremely comfortable rooms. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

A very comfortable stay, a great breakfast and good location near the metro station.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly...

Walking distance to old city and bus and train station, you can walk from this hotel to all the important things that you want to see, I think it should have more then two stars, we were staying in triple room with bathroom.

Brilliant little hotel felt homely and very clean , helpful staff and amazing breakfast. In a quiet area not too far from the centre lots of restaurants near by . Could of have more solid mattress although good sized room and nice shower. Definitely would stay or reccomed again
