Amazing experience - it’s in a perfect location, a stones throw away from the city centre train station and all the shops. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful, even when I lost my bag they found it for me. Rooms are a bit on the small side but for the price I can’t complain. Beds were comfortable and the space worked wonderfully for me and my daughter. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location ,right opposite the Arlanda Express terminal and easy walking distance to Old town and also shops, restaurants and bars. Reception team are extremely friendly and helpful for any questions about the city and getting around.Our room was fairly small but had everything we needed. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was very good and continuously being refreshed

Central location made it an ideal base for my first short break in Stockholm. A stones throw from central station, but in a quiet side street with easy access to all forms of public transport.Large and very comfortable superior room on the top floor, complete with balcony. All the staff I dealt with were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The only let down, and the reason why I've given the hotel 4 instead of 5 stars, was the quality of the breakfast. I understand that there are ongoing renovations in the restaurant area, but this doesn't excuse the very poor quality of some of the items offered. Otherwise an excellent hotel.

Staff is friendly, location is excellent, but the room and the bathroom are tiny, felt like being in a hotel in Japan, they should really put the square meters on the description. Other than that the breakfast didn't have enough sweet options, and it was cramped, we had to wait to sit on both days, and the space to move around the tables and the buffet is really narrow.

Nice hotel in one of the typical old buildings in Stockholm City Center. The rooms are however not old at all and of very nice and feel-good quality. Staff upon check-in was a little bit rude and impolite but that may just have been a spur of the moment.

I’ve been staying at this hotel in Stockholm since the 90s and I always come back to it. I love its boutique type feeling and the location is fabulous as it’s opposite the Arlanda Express and has a metro stop around the corner. It’s also close to Drottninggatan a street that has many shops and leads you to Gamla Stan. The rooms are lovely and clean with powerful showers and there is plenty of choice at breakfast. Whilst I have stayed at others places in Stockholm, I tend to always come back to the Freys for its great location.

We really enjoyed the historic charm of the building. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty basic, but good, a nice start to the day. We enjoyed the sauna one evening. The balcony from our room was a nice spot to relax in the evenings. Just a few blocks walk from the central train station, the neighborhood is very walkable and has public transportation options close by.

Great hotel - particularly if getting the express train to and from the airport. Our room (619) was big and comfortable and quiet with the windows closed - but as it was hot it got a little stuffy. Fantastic breakfast each day. Only issues were the that the wifi was terrible and dropped out constantly and despite having a microwave, tea and coffee, a sink etc there was no cutlery or plates! We’d stay here again…

Hotel was very conveniently located to train station and other activities such as walking to the ferry, restaurants and shops. The sauna was a nice perk at the end of a long day of walking and touring. You must book this at least a day or two in advance to get the time that you would like. We liked the rooftop terrace. We also have a terrace off of our room. This hotel does not have AC but we have three fans in our room and we were able to get a nice breeze going by opening the Terrace door for an hour or so before bed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I would stay here again.
