We spent two very enjoyable weeks in Domodossola staying at the Nicomat Rooms. Anna and Fabiola couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily and the breakfast was a delight each morning. Many thanks all round. Sue and Paul

A delightful chalet high up from the town with spectacular mountain views and fresh alpine air. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with homemade jams and cake to compliment the croissants and rolls. Local meat and cheese too. We walked down to the town for delicious pizza in the evening.

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff

We really enjoined our stay at this property. The personnel is very nice, rooms very clean and conformable and breakfast is great. Just 7 minutes walk to Matterhorn-Express, the hotel is very central but quiet at the same time.

The staff were so helpful, the breakfasts were amazing and all the facilities were very good. There is a bubble pool, sauna, relaxation rooms and various massages that can be booked. I had the singing bowls massage it was superb.

Loved my stay here, dinner in restaurant was amazing and breakfast outstanding. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Even gave us a lift to train station so we could eat breakfast. Outstanding.

This was our sixth stay at the Bussola as Orta is somewhere we visit regularly. For the first time in a few visits we ate here too. We had forgotten how good the food is and having dinner and on the terrace overlooking the lake is the perfect location to enjoy it. The menu was different on each of the two nights with enough choice for most people. The only minor criticism from last time, paying for WiFi, has now been resolved and it’s free like most hotels. Hotel molto carino e accogliente vicinissimo al centro di Domodossola. Personale accogliente degno di una vera accoglienza all’Italiana. Stanza molto carina con tutti i confort necessari. Ritorneremo sicuramente. Bravi.

We picked the hotel as the picture appealed and the room met our expectations of something really different. The shower was brilliant! Breakfast offer nice and varied.

Very nice, friendly hotel overall in a great location for those arriving by train. It is a 15-20 minute walk to Orta San Giulio but if you are reasonably able bodied it's not really a problem, we went there and back 4 times in two days and were fine! The room was modern and clean with a balcony and a nice view of the little terrace. The only problem we had was that they had forgotten to put towels in our room, which they rectified immediately when we asked them. The breakfast buffet was lovely,...
