"The room we stayed in was old and run down. The doors to all the rooms slam so hard they can be heard all night. No fault of the hotel but there is a night club across the street that was so loud the music on till 3 am with people yelling and car racing up the street…. Was a sleepless night so we actually checked out at 4am and when we went to our car a couple druggies were at the back door all strung out. Will never return"

"Good news first- The food and the restaurant were good. The bartender- she was very good. The front desk guy looked overwhelmed and did the best he could. He gets a thumbs up. Hot tub nice and big. Bad- the area outside- sketchy- although the hotel had the foresight to hire a security guard- saw deals going down just outside his view in the parking lot. Found a bug in my room. Sheets were clean but obviously reused- wine stains. Sticky food residue on carpet beside the bed. Thermostat did not work. Had to sleep with the window open. Couple of the lights and outlets in the room did not work. Hallways/ stairwells dirty. Lifeguards sitting next to hot tub- letting small children into the hot tub unattended. I hope the owner sees this- looks like it used to be a good place though management has let it get run down"

"We appreciated the ground floor room with outside access while traveling with our dog. The hotel is a bit dated but has amazing common spaces with unique architectural details. The pool and sauna were very clean and provided a perfect break after a long day driving. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both our meals were excellent and fairly priced. It was only unfortunate that other guests were not respectful and played loud thumping music late into the night. "

"They tried to forcibly enter my room after I fell asleep in a completely dry bathroom, that being the only thing that would ease my nausea. They cited water in the vents but there were no vents on the floor in the bathroom. Don't turn on the air conditioning or else these clowns will send someone to break in to your room, should another customer complain about being cold."

"This used to be my favorite hotel when I went back to my home town. A year ago I stayed there and it was looking rough. The indoor hot tub was no longer working and the outside hot tub was working but the waterfall and creek that ran beside hot tub is no longer functioning. They have let shrubs and flowers that used to line creek get out of control. It looks horrible. Stayed there again last week and nothing is fixed. It smells musty in hall and room. Be careful of extra charges. I booked through Expedia and got a pet friendly room and paid more for a pet friendly room. This is normal and thought the price on Expedia is all in. WRONG! They charged me another $33 dollars on top when I got to hotel. The pub downstairs used to be good as well, often having bands on Thursday nights. Not anymore. I went down for a beer at 9:30 and she told me it was almost last call and they close at 10! Found out it is new owners and I guess they are just letting this place fall apart. What a shame! The Quattro down the street is newly renovated and very nice, but unfortunately not pet friendly."
