"Extremely comfortable hotel in a great location. All staff were friendly and helpful. Only 9/10 for room cleanliness as it was just a 'lick and a promise' on the second day."

The Henry Jones Art Hotel has a fantastic location right by Elizabeth Street Pier, and is surrounded by a plethora of seafood restaurants - it’s conveniently located for walking around the docks and/or Hobart city centre. The room was great, and the reception staff were excellent - I needed a couple of documents to be printed and (later) scanned to PDF, and the staff were very helpful. Metered street parking is available, but at A$35 per night we took advantage of the hotel’s valet parking...

We had a lovely room. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a harbour view. The room was very comfortable. However we do have some reservations about how the staff communicate with each other in an emergency situation. We were there when water was pouring from a sprinkler being set off and causing flooding on 2nd floor, reception area , the lift shafts and one emergency fire exit. Being pensioners we struggled to get cases down the emergency stairs and it was difficult to find help. There did not...

We like Hadley’s Orient it is a comfortable, stylish and well located place to stay in Hobart.
This was our second stay at Hadley’s and it was even better than the last. It is a hotel with a distinct sense of style which makes any stay more of an event than a faceless modern glass, brick and steel alternative. The staff were universally helpful, whether on reception or in the bar and restaurant.
The Hotel is very well located, being a short distance from the waterfront and Salamanca Place....

Beautiful well-appointed flat with history in an ideal location in Battery Point, just uphill from Salamanca Market and within sight of Arthurs Circus. Easy walking distance to the centre of town and with a good selection of local cafes and restaurants within a minute of the apartment.
