"Amazing place and outstanding service. The place is beautiful: elegant colonial building and the beautifully furnished rooms. We spent 4 nights at the spacious regatta suite. Breakfast was excellent and Denise was very kind - it was nice to dine together with the other guests and chat. The only downsides are that the place is located on a busy road across from a gas station. Yet, once you are inside you cannot hear that."

"Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. "We had a very comfortable and quiet stay and received a free upgrade - thank you! The unit and apartment hotel is well equipped for cooking needs, plus has a laundry. They also have lots of brochures available. We left our car at the carpark and enjoyed Hobart by foot, so no driving hassles. It's very well located near attractive Battery Point, so great for a stroll to nearby cafes and an easy walk down to the harbour and Salamanca."
