"The pool was not open due to construction??? I wish we would have known this before we booked the hotel. It should say it somewhere on their website — pool temporarily down— something. Other than that, this was a pleasantly restored hotel along the original Route 66."

"Front desk clerk checking in to was awesome!!! Floor dirty in the room and housekeeping was beyond rude and loud in the morning. Letting the doors slam , yelling to each other, dropping linen from the top floor into a carrier, music in hallway, bumping into the walls. Not all people check out quickly we were on a much needed getaway and wanted to sleep in but the staff made that impossible so we gave up and left. Will never stay here again "

"We stayed one night while traveling through. The gentleman at the desk was such a pleasure! So polite and helpful! Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had a great night's sleep and the mattress was also comfortable. (If you are a light sleeper you do hear the highway) The breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed the egg white omelets. If we come this way again, we'd definitely stay here!"

"In room coffee was decalf. NO breakfast coffee. No hot food. They put up signs out of order and the signs were old. They admitted it had been awhile since anything worked . Almonds behind the room door. We had no almonds. A rusted paper holder in the floor. We had no paper clips"
