A lovely place!

Really pleasant stay after we were tired out from a particularly vigorous wedding. We wished we’d been able to stay longer! You can access the Castle Ashby gardens nearby for free and they’re well worth a visit.

Lovely stay at the Falcon. Friendly staff and good food. Breakfast nice, we felt portions were a bit small. Was staying there to celebrate my mums 80th. Cool that you can get into Castle Ashby Gardens as a hotel guest.

Our stopover at The Falcon Hotel was exemplary!. The room was immaculate, clean, comfortable & peaceful with high quality toiletries & facilities to make hot drinks. The dining experience was a complete experience of exceptional tasting food as was the breakfast tasting menu. We would definitely return to the hotel and try some of the activities on offer there.

Wonderful staff nothing was to much for them and so welcoming. The bed in the room was really comfortable, good quality linen and pillows. Had a selection tea and coffees in the room. The shower was amazing such good water pressure, the roll top bath was very deep and great for a good soak! We would definitely recommend a stay and hope to return soon.

The Falcon is a perfect hotel for a quiet getaway in a country location. Rooms are cosy and comfortable, (not spacious), and nicely appointed. Staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The bar and east lounge/patio are the ideal spot for a leisurely afternoon tea or evening snack.

Excellent restaurant food

location was excellent for a quiet time. food in the restaurant and lounge was excellent. For accommodation, we were located in a cottage which was small and not enough space to walk around for two people. for the price paid for the room, it was the only down point.

The Falcon is a charming, well maintained country hotel and restaurant. All the staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. Jackie (B) has made our stay particularly special. The cottage room is compact but very cosy and well equipped. Everything about the Falcon is first rate!
