"Checked in to room 2828 and it was a disaster- wet carpet, damp comforters, stained pillow cases, puddle in the bathroom floor, and no hot water. Phone in the room went straight to busy signal and app gave no response to the issues. We ended up bringing our bags back to the lobby (only 1 working elevator) to talk to Ty manager. Fortunately we were given a new room 1707 which was way way better, cleaner. Would not recommend staying in the main building as it appears to be the older of the rest. Also, be aware that in addition to room fee, you will be charged an additional $55/day resort fee and $25 per day for parking."

"Absolutely stunning hotel, so clean and pretty, we think it’s the nicest in Clearwater. The pros outweigh the cons, the cons were the shower has no power, water doesn’t drain from the sink and the plug doesn’t stay in the sink. Toilet flush was intermittent. We ate lunch at the poolside bar and then both ended up with a dodgy stomach, I think the oil the food was cooked in may have needed changing as the fries had a greasy taste, so could have just been that. The room was so stunning, the view you couldn’t have asked more for, staff were so lovely and it just gave you a feeling of perfection when we arrived. Complementary drinks and check in a car valet was provided too."

"This classic hotel definitely maintained its charm. It's hard to believe it has been around over 100 years. It was rather tight on space whether it be room size, parking, hallways, etc. The restaurant couldn't even accommodate our party of 10 and had to split into two tables. The view of the beach was nice and sunny St Pete never disappoints. But if you need a more modern and spacious location then this hotel wouldn't be the place to go..."

"This is not a top rated hotel but it's very convenient, it's on the beach and in walking distance to every restaurants in the area on the strip. It's an older hotel and very, very convenient the rooms are clean as any high end hotel and you have a balcony to enjoy drinks if you do not want to walk around. I have stayed there several times throughout the years Love being there."
